If you're in crisis or need immediate help
Rhythm can support reflection, but it can't provide crisis care. If you're in crisis, please reach a person. In Canada and the US you can call or text 9-8-8 any time.
Common questions
How does Rhythm protect my privacy?
What you write is stored in a form no human can read, including the two of us who built Rhythm. Nothing is sold or shared, and when Rhythm asks a model for a reply, it goes without your name or account attached. Full detail on /privacy-safety-ethics
Is Rhythm therapy?
No. Rhythm is a space to think out loud, and it's useful for a lot of what people bring to therapy, but it isn't therapy, it can't diagnose or treat anything, and it isn't built for crisis. More on /is-rhythm-therapy
How is Rhythm different from ChatGPT, Claude, or other LLMs?
Rhythm is a personal AI for thinking things through, built for private reflection. They're general purpose assistants built to complete tasks for anyone. In practice: you set how Rhythm talks to you across five settings, it remembers what you've told it between conversations, and it lives somewhere separate from the tool you use for your job. Does Rhythm use my conversations to train AI?
Nothing you write is sold or shared. When Rhythm asks a model for a reply, it goes without your name or account attached. Automated software does tag topics like work or relationships to produce anonymized, aggregate insights, and no person reads your messages to do it. Full detail on /privacy-safety-ethics
Can anyone at Rhythm read my messages?
No human can. Conversations are stored encrypted, so nobody at Rhythm can browse them. Automated software tags topics in a de-identified way to produce aggregate insights, and no person sees the content.
Can I try Rhythm without an account?
Yes. Download the app, press start, and set up your first Rhythm by chatting. You get ten messages each time you open it, and at ten Rhythm asks if you'd like to save it. Without an account nothing saves, so closing the app clears both your Rhythm and the conversation.
How do message limits work?
Free accounts include ten messages a month. Subscribers get unlimited messages. Top-ups add twenty more whenever you need them, and they don't expire.
What happens to my conversations if I stop subscribing?
Your history stays. Rhythm's memory narrows to your most recent twenty messages, the same as the free plan, so it remembers less of the longer story until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted unless you delete it.
How do I manage my subscription?
Update, cancel or review it any time in the app or through your Apple Store subscription settings.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in the app and tap delete. Your account and all your conversations are removed automatically. If you'd rather a human handled it, email support@meetrhythm.app.
I found a bug. What should I do?
Thank you for helping us improve Rhythm. Send details and screenshots if you have them to support@meetrhythm.app.
I have a suggestion or feedback. How can I share?
Email support@meetrhythm.app or reach out on socials. Rhythm is built for you, so your experience matters.
